Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6/11/2026
This Privacy Policy describes how NearCourt ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website (the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and (optionally) a display name.
Activity data: Reviews and court listings you create are stored along with the time they were created.
Search queries: City names you search are sent to OpenStreetMap services to return court results. We do not personally identify you in those requests.
Cookies & local storage: We use local storage to cache search results, keep you signed in, and remember your cookie preferences.
2. Advertising & Cookies
We display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
When you first visit NearCourt, we ask for your consent to use non-essential cookies (including advertising cookies). If you decline, we will not load personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.
3. How We Use Your Information
To operate the Service, authenticate you, display your reviews, and improve the product.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Reviews and court listings you create are public.
5. Third-Party Services
We rely on third parties for hosting, authentication, geographic data, and advertising — including Google AdSense and OpenStreetMap. Each provider has its own privacy practices.
6. Your Choices
You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. You can edit or remove your reviews and listings from your account page. You can withdraw cookie consent through your browser settings.
7. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13.
