Terms of Service

Last updated: 6/11/2026

By accessing or using NearCourt (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

NearCourt is a free directory that helps users find and review pickleball courts. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

2. Listings Accuracy

Court information is aggregated from public sources and user submissions. We make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate but do not warrant the completeness, availability, hours, fees, or condition of any listed court. Always confirm details before traveling.

4. User Content & Reviews

You retain ownership of reviews and listings you submit, but grant NearCourt a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote them on the Service. Reviews must be honest and based on your own experience. We may remove content that is abusive, defamatory, spammy, or violates these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to (a) scrape or systematically harvest data, (b) misrepresent yourself, (c) interfere with the Service, or (d) use the Service to violate any law.

6. Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account.

7. Intellectual Property

The NearCourt name, logo, and original content are our property. Map and court data are provided under their respective licenses (see Privacy Policy).

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NearCourt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including injury or loss occurring at any court.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify NearCourt against claims arising from your content or your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
